Thank you so much for everyone who came to this year’s London Zine Symposium and made it as amazing as it was. There’s been a lot of wonderful photos and films that have been uploaded to the internet for those who missed the day & want to see just how amazing it is. But apologies that our website has been offline for three weeks - a rubbish situation. We’re still working on it, but once it’s all 100% we’ll upload a whole load of other photos and a couple of reports of the day. Watch this space!

It’s only a week until this year’s London Zine Symposium. All the stalls have been confirmed and at www.londonzinesymposium.org.uk/stalls; the workshops are all ready to go too at http://www.londonzinesymposium.org.uk/workshops. We’ve also been busy making t-shirts and a Zine Symposium zine that we’ll post to the site in the next few days, and that will be at the symposium on the day. Oh, and not to mention the vegan cake - don’t forget about the cakes; they’re going to be amazing!

We had well over 100 applications, which means it’s taking us longer to get in touch with everyone to let them know whether they’ve been successful or not. We’re starting to confirm some of the workshops that will be happening at this year’s zine symposium. The first one to confirm might be the most exciting though - at the zine symposium 2009 we will be printing a zine during the day.
Women’s library zine fest

Another zine fest is happening at the Women’s library in London this weekend on Saturday 24th January. There’s a lot happening at the event, and if it’s anything like 2007 it should be a lot of fun.
Stall applications open

We have early details of the Zine Symposium happening in 2009. This year’s event will be happening on Sunday 3rd May, 2009 at the Rag Factory. Full details, and an improved website will be up in the next few days.
